P5291097.jpgHello. Thank you for your interest in my practice. My name is Dr. Lisa Seropian. It is pronounced sir-oh-pea-in. Originally from South Florida, I have lived in North Carolina for thirteen years. I have thirteen years of post-doctoral experience working with children, teens, and adults, and 23 years working in the mental health field. I have been privileged to work with people from very different backgrounds and with many types of problems. I have learned a great deal about how to help people. Also, I have been in my own psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy, which helps me to appreciate the courage, work, and reward involved in this adventure. My approach is usually described as direct and frank, yet soft and calm. I affirm and build on my clients' strengths. I love the work and count myself privileged to have your trust. The best way to know if I am the right therapist for you is to call, make an appointment, and come in. That way, you can meet me, ask questions, and tell me what you want to accomplish. I will answer your questions and we will see if it is a good fit for you. I look forward to it!
