CLIENT FOCUS
My focus is on individual counseling. However, I also offer group and family counseling.  My clients tend to be late adolescent through the elderly.  I specialize in helping my clients cope with and transition through the stages of life.  My primary interest lies in growth and development throughout life.

I have a working knowledge of North Carolina's public school system, state and local social services as well as Hospice where I was a volunteer.  Beyond providing counseling, I can act as your advocate, assisting you in finding comforting spiritual outlets and work with you to best utilize the broad array of community resources in the Triangle area.

TREATMENT PREFERENCES
Modality: Each client I see is unique -- their problems; the state of their mental health; their life experiences.  Because of these differences, seldom is there a single "right" approach for therapy.  Together we will determine your needs and how to best address them. I will take an educative approach to your problems or those that your family is experiencing. With my experience from studying and using many different theories and therapies, I can help you find the most appropriate course of action to assist you in your journey toward well being.
