Finding a Therapist
Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis is available to adults, adolescents and children in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area through the faculty, graduates and candidates of the Psychoanalytic Institute of the Carolinas and members of the North Carolina Psychoanalytic Society. Referrals can also be made to North Carolina Psychoanalytic Society members who are outside the triangle area. Undertaking psychoanalytic treatment involves a significant investment of time and money. When psychoanalysis is recommended to a person who cannot bear the full cost, a reduced fee can be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
