The Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas

The Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas (PECC), a division of the NC Psychoanalytic Society, offers a wide range of courses and training programs in psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and psychoanalytically informed studies.
 
The PECC builds on the training traditions of both the Psychoanalytic Institute of the Carolinas and the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center, whose programs were merged to form PECC in 2008.

Training opportunities include:
  • continuing education courses for mental health professionals
  • comprehensive training programs in both Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
  • courses open to non-mental health professionals with an interest in psychoanalytic ideas
